Aram Garnik Hakobyan

Deputy Director of  RA NSS 

Aram Garnik Hakobyan was born on July 25, 1959 in Dilijan.
In 1973-1977, he studied at Yerevan Electro-Technical College.
In 1977, he worked at “Hydraulic gear” production association.
In 1977-1979, he served in the USSR Armed Forces.
In 1979-1980, he worked at “Hydraulic gear” production association.
In 1980, he entered service in the CSS of ASSR.
In 1985-1990, he studied at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Kirovakan State Pedagogical Institute (correspondence study). 
In 1991, he entered the service of the RA national security bodies holding the positions of the head of a subdivision to the head of a directorate.
2013-2018 - Deputy Director of the National Security Service under the RA Government. 
2018-2024 - Deputy Director of the RA NSS.
On January 12, 2024, by the Decree of the RA President, he was relieved of his post and on the same day, by the decision of the RA Prime Minister, he was appointed Deputy Director of the RA National Security Service.
On July 15, 2025, by the decision of the RA Prime Minister, he was reappointed Deputy Director of the RA National Security Service.
He holds the military rank of Major General.

2019 - the Commemorative medal of the RA Prime Minister.

Samvel Yuri Hayrapetyan

Deputy Director of RA NSS 

Samvel Yuri Hayrapetyan was born on June 9, 1967 in Kirovakan.
In 1984-1991, he studied at Yerevan State University.
In 1985-1987, he served in the USSR Armed Forces.
In 1989-1994, he taught at school. 
In 1994, he entered the service of the RA national security bodies, holding positions from an operational officer to the head of a directorate, deputy head of a main directorate. 
On December 20, 2019, by the Decree of the RA President he was appointed Deputy Director of the RA NSS.
On January 12, 2024, by the Decree of the RA President he was relieved of the post and on the same day, by the decision of the RA Prime Minister he was appointed Deputy Director of the RA National Security Service.
On July 15, 2025, by the decision of the RA Prime Minister, he was reappointed Deputy Director of the RA National Security Service.  
He holds the military rank of Major General.

2019 – the Commemorative Medal of the RA Prime Minister, 
2020 - the second-class Medal of Services to the Motherland.

Yesai Yuri Mkrtchyan

Deputy Director of RA NSS 

Yesai Yuri Mkrtchyan was born on September 16, 1971 in Nakhijevan.
In 1993, he graduated from Yerevan Institute of National Economy with honors.
In 1993, he entered the service of the RA national security bodies holding the positions of an operational officer to the head of a main directorate. 
On May 31, 2024, by the decision of the RA Prime Minister he was appointed Deputy Director of the RA National Security Service.
On July 15, 2025, by the decision of the RA Prime Minister, he was reappointed Deputy Director of the RA National Security Service.
He holds the military rank of Major General.

2011- the second-class Medal of Services to the Motherland,
2017- the Commemorative Medal of the RA Prime Minister,
2019- the Medal of Courage.
