A solemn oath-taking ceremony of the conscripts began in the N military unit of the Border Guard Troops of the RA National Security Service took place to the sounds of the RA anthem.

The event was attended by Director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia Andranik Simonyan, Deputy Directors Aram Hakobyan and David Sanamyan, Commander of the Border Guard Troops Colonel Garik Muradyan, and other officials.

The main protocol part of the symbolic event - the solemn ceremony of taking the oath - took place under the battle flag on the parade ground of the unit.

The conscripts swore that they would be the guarantors of the inviolability and security of the state border of the Republic of Armenia, assuring that they would live up to all the hopes and expectations placed upon them.

Director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia Andranik Simonyan congratulated the conscripts on the memorable day, after which the Commander of the Border Guard Troops of the RA NSS delivered a speech.

In connection with the oath-taking ceremony, Nona Hakobyan congratulated the conscripts on behalf of the conscripts’ parents․ 

The conscripts performed the anthem of the Border Guard Troops of the RA NSS and the solemn oath-taking ceremony concluded with a march of the conscripts, accompanied by the orchestra.

At the end of the solemn ceremony, the conscripts of the Border Guard Troops demonstrated special tactics and hand-to-hand combat techniques, and the Cynology Center demonstrated exercises with service dogs ․

At the end of the visit, the Director of the National Security Service conducted an inspection at the military unit familiarizing himself with the servicemen’s living and service conditions, as well as the armaments and logistical resources.
