On December 29, 2025, another meeting of the Interagency Commission on the Issues of Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing (Whereabouts Unknown) Persons chaired by Director of the RA National Security Service A. Simonyan was held.

Chairman of the Commission, Director of the RA National Security Service A. Simonyan in his opening speech reaffirmed that the issue of missing persons is viewed exclusively as a humanitarian matter. Then the work carried out since the previous meeting and the steps taken to clarify the fate of the missing persons were presented.

Future plans for the coming year regarding the coordination of search operations for missing persons and the strengthening of cooperation with relevant stakeholders were discussed. At the conclusion of the meeting, Chairman of the Commission, Director of the RA National Security Service A. Simonyan issued the relevant instructions.
